Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel.
I pray to the source above
Tribe together let's sing
Send me down some of that sacred love
And all that love will bring.
The tired old times are over now
We're living while we pray
God sent us a teacher
To help us on our way
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Well now, God sent down a master
To show us wrong from right
For what good is your vision
If you ain't got not sight?
Now I think that it's time for us
To get out of our own way
Because God sent us a friendly voice
To get us through the day.
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel.
We celebrate upon this day
The birth of a life meant to show us a way
Be forgiving, be forgiving
Love yourself and your neighbor, too
Turn that cheek, save a life
Make the old time stories new
And as we celebrate the teacher
Let's say thanks for the lesson, too.
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel. (sing noel)
Sing noel, sing noel, noel, noel.

It was almost Christmas time, there I stood in another line
Trying to buy that last gift or two, not really in the Christmas mood
Standing right in front of me was a little girl waiting anxiously
Pacing 'round like little gilrs do
And in her hands she held a pair of shoes
And her clothes were worn and old, she was dirty from head to toe
And when it came her time to pay
I couldn't believe what I heard her say
Chorus:
Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my Mama, please
It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size
Could you hurry, sir, Daddy says there's not much time
You see she's been sick for quite a while
And I know these shoes would make her smile
And I want her to look beautiful if Mama meets Jesus tonight
She counted pennies for what seemed like years
Then the cashier said, "There's not enough here"
She searched his pockets frantically
Then she turned and she looked at me
She said Mama made Christmas good at our house
Though most years she just did without
Tell me Sir, what am I going to do,
Somehow I've got to buy her these Christmas shoes
So I laid the money down, I just had to help her out
I'll never forget the look on her face when she said
Mama's gonna look so great!
Bridge:
I knew I'd caught a glimpse of heaven's love
As she thanked me and ran out
I knew that God had sent that little girl
To remind me just what Christmas is all about
Repeat Chorus

The angel Gabriel from Heaven came,
His wings as drifted snow,
His eyes as flame;
'All hail,' said he,
'Thou lowly maiden Mary,'
Most highly favoured lady, Gloria!
'For known a blessed Mother thou shalt be,
All generations laud and honour thee,
Thy Son shall be Emmanuel, by seers foretold,'
Most highly favoured lady, Gloria!
Then gentle Mary meekly bowed her head,
'To me be as it pleaseth God,' she said,
'My soul shall laud and magnify his holy name.'
Most highly favoured lady, Gloria!
Of her, Emmanuel, the Christ, was born
In Bethlehem, all on a Christmas morn,
And Christian folk throughout the world will ever say:
Most highly favoured lady, Gloria!
